Richard is global head of Repo Trading and global co-head of the Short Macro Trading joint venture. He is a member of the Firmwide LIBOR Transition Strategy Group. Richard joined the firm as a vice president in 2015, was named managing director in 2017, and partner in 2020.

Richard is also a member of the Alternative Reference Rate Committee which is a group of private-market participants convened by the Federal Reserve Board and the New York Fed to help ensure a successful transition from US dollar LIBOR to a more robust reference rate, its recommended alternative, the Secured Overnight FinancingRate (SOFR).

Richard earned a BSc in Financial Mathematics and Economics from the National University of Ireland, Galway in2005 and an MSc in Finance from Warwick Business School in 2006.
